Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

I believe therapy should be a safe and nonjudgmental place for things that can be hard to share. A therapeutic rapport based on empathy, respect, and humour is my top priority. I bring a sense of calm, acceptance, and undivided attention to my clients. I work with issues like anxiety, stress, depression, self-esteem, and life transitions.

I like the metaphor of two people climbing their own mountains of struggles – it is not that I have all the answers, and I am chilling at the top of my mountain! But I may be able to see some things in your journey from a different perspective, see what has come before and how it relates to what is coming next, and some obstacles that may be in your path. I enjoy giving clients the space to dig deep and explore thoughts, feelings, behaviours and the relationship between the past and the present. I also focus on what we can control amid our struggles and tangible steps we can take to fill our lives with balance and meaning.

In my previous career as an international school teacher I would travel frequently but lately I’ve been sticking close to home! In my free time I value spending time with loved ones, snuggling up with my dog to watch a show, being outside (preferably on water!), going for a run or to a yoga class, and dawdling over my morning coffee with a good book.

OR…still not sure what therapist is a good fit for you?
